Information all customers should know: In the event of a collision your insurance company will try to lead you to a collision shop that is recommended by your insurance company. They lead the customer to believe that they are unable to take their vehicle to the shop of their choice. This is not true. In fact, not allowing you to take your vehicle to the shop of your choice is illegal. In the event of an accident notify your insurance company and let them know where you would like your vehicle repaired.
